Bit of a long shot but does anyone have a retention clip for a rear view mirror?

My dad managed to lose it (I know!) whilst borrowing my car.

Glyn. I guess he means the spring type clip that is, or should be ::), attached to the inside of the mirror stem so that it locks and locates when you slide it up on to the mirror mount on the screen. :)

Thanks Simmo, I have an old mirror so presumably there should be one attached, if so he is welcome to it. Visit to the shed coming up !

My garage is worse- took me a whole day just to dig out my MG for it's MOT -decided to sell it now as it only comes out once a year for it's MOT. Hope the mirror isn't in the garage ! :'(

Yes but it seems you can not only find the shed you can actually get in! ;D ;D

I wondered how long it would be...

If you can actually get in your shed, you need to find more stuff to put in it...I mean, its just wasted space otherwise

I can only get in it by taking things out ! Anyway expedition successful.
