Hiya Guys
anyone have a line on where I migh get an inlet manifold for a 2.3 ???

You can use the inlet manifold from the 2.0 16v - alloy casting won't crack like the 2.3 16v plastic one.

I have one i bought off ebay about 8 yrs ago, so i have no idea if its good or not, u can have it for free but u have to collect, sorry. Im in grays essex

Hi Peter

Just a quick note.
Got around to fitting the manifold yesterday and while it cured the water leak alas I still have my misfire ....argh.

One thing was a little strange It had no brass threaded bits for the thermostat but I cut them out of the old one and its fine.

Head/Head gasket next stop...if that fails a gallon of thinners and a box of matches ;D ;D
I have to add I am just kidding before some health and safety enthusiast chimes in :o

Probably a Galaxy manifold - they don't use that part of the manifold so the inserts aren't fitted.

Thinners is too expensive, try white spirit
