Seems the heat has finally got to the interior mirror and destroyed the LCD part of the auto dipping. It now is a normal mirror in the top half and tinted in the lower half showing where the fluid has drained! :-/ Thankfully it hasn't leaked (yet)

Does anyone have a good mirror available please?

I put a BMW mirror in mine, it had the correct wiring to work. I think I posted about it, not sure as it was a long time ago.

Interesting tip.... did the mounting match up as well and any idea which BMW it was from? :)

I think Jaguars from around the Scorpio time also used the same part.

It wont go on the scorp base, so you need that bit, cant remember what one :-/ Just looked back and the post was 2013 and I dont say there what it came off.

I spoke to Ford about other parts today and they list the original mirror at £360.76 :o Not that I was remotely tempted at that price, but they were no longer stocked or avaialble of course.

Seen a few Jaguar mirrors that look the same but they have no visible wiring in the pictures? Certainly a lot more common and cheap enough but wonder how you wire them in.
