Desperately seeking a 2.3 timing chain cover, car is off the road 'till we find one.
Unfortunately looks like the banger boys have soaked them all up, ours in a bad way so car is "grounded" really till we can obtain one :(

Hope one of the members has one in a cupboard and can help

I take it the new one on ebay I mentioned in your other post is too much £160 :-[

Hello yes it is not "competitively priced" is it and the car is on a limited timespan. However got it "mended" with the spanner man today so will see how it goes. The trouble is at the very bottom of the cover-time will tell.
