Title: Radiators wanted Post by Ryan_Williams on May 15th, 2022, 6:02pm The radiators on both of our Scorpios have begun to leak. They are still usable as it isn't too much yet, but we were wondering if anybody has any new radiators lying around, or knows where we could get hold of some? We have a 1996 2.0 and a 1997 2.3. Both are autos. Thanks, Ryan. |

I had the radiator on my 2.0ltr repaired by a small firm in Tunbridge Wells. The crucial thing is where is the leak coming from? the tanks at the side are plastic and if they go the rad. is a write off. The core is simply dealt with however. Title: Re: Radiators wanted Post by Nunnspoet on May 17th, 2022, 8:03am Hi Ryan. I had two Rads sorted by these people: Wolverhampton Radiators, Landport Road, Wolverhampton. Tel; 01902 870369. They did a really good job for my Scorpio 24valve Cosworths, so give them a bell. Mike :) |

Title: Re: Radiators wanted Post by Ryan_Williams on May 17th, 2022, 10:27pm Hi everyone. Thanks for all the responses. We decided to buy the radiator that Mike posted about, and we will put that into the 2.3 as we are using that Scorpio at the moment. We live in Staffordshire, so the radiator specialist that (Nunnspoet) Mike posted about is closest and we will contact them about having the one out of the 2.3 recored to put into the 2.0 if we can't find another new one. Hopefully that one is leaking from the core, not the plastic tanks as Simmo said, but if it is we will have to try getting the one that is currently in the 2.0 done. Thanks again. Ryan |
