Just saw the prices for the ultima Scorpios here...

and now I was wondering if I paid too much for my
S-reg Scorpio Estate (August 98 is S-reg, right? Sorry I am from Germany)?

It had 109,000 miles when I bought it and has everything but leather seats and cruise control (Its a german Ghia model, which compares to the Ghia-X model as far as I can see at the moment). Almost no rust. Got a replacement autogearbox and cylinder-head gasket at 103,000 miles. Runs smooth and I had no problems until now (2 months).

I was just wondering what you guys here would consider an appropiate price for that car?

Tim, if you're happy with the car and you think it's worth it then you didn't pay too much ;)

Price will vary widely from market to market, is this in Germany?

What's the problem you're having?

Also don't forget that the prices over here are far more depressed than the continent as we're in a recession or should that be teetering on the brink of an economy meltdown.

I really like the Scorpio, otherwise I wouldn' have bought it :D

Since I'm a Kraut I was a little confused the first seconds, about the prices for the Scorpio in the UK :o

But I now realized that the price was ok for Germany (although I Knew before) thanks to a German Scorpio Forum.

I don't really always need a bargain, but feeling ripped off isn't pleasant.
Well, now that this feeling is gone, never mind my question... 8)
