hi,

need to sell my scorp people its a 96 p plate just passed mot with no problems but has started misfiring on hard throttle really havent the time or money to fix it, its been on the obd scanner at work but no faults showed up in the memory.

its silver ultima spec all the toys work, leather in good nick, 154k miles but sounds fine, 4 very good tyres, front discs warped (that was the next job after mot) loads of photos available just send me a pm if interested ill be sorry to see it go but i dont have the time or money to throw at it and im open to sensible offers

bet you a Kings ransom your coil packs are breaking down !!! lift off the top cover and check the wiring around the coil packs and then look at the spark plugs for the tell tale black line...the tracking line.

Ya can't sell that! it's a beut, ger it mended and love it some more.... it has to be worthit :'(
All these fabulous scorps going to the grave, I would love to buy them all and store them all in a big paddock somewhere while I could get round to mending them all.... Ho to be rich.... :-[

well thanks to mr brown and his rich get richer and the poor.......... well u know the rest, me and the mrs cant afford two cars anymore, its being sorn at the end of the month, ill put it on ebay if no interest on here, yes its a shame but what can u do, walks away sobbing....!!!

Scott, if I was nearer mate and I knew how my finances would be in the next few months, I'd bite your hand off for it :).

The idea of a Scorp with a manual 'box really appeals to me. All I can say is best of luck with it ;).

Sold mine because I couldn't afford to run it with the Jag (not the servicing, it's the insurance and fuel), gotta admit I really miss it - Scorp is such a good combination of versatility and comfort...

Pete, old Fords and Jags...don't get me started on what I'd love in my private collection :'(

bruce, i always had a thing for old fords, especially rwd escorts and capris, i bought the scorp as the next best thing to one of those, i never thought id like it as much as i do, even my mrs has a soft spot for it and her daily hack is an old vitara!

we took it over to france before chrimbo for a beer run, 4 adults and a boot full of beer that and a 154k mile car wouldnt usually mix, but i had no reservations what so ever and it proved to be an absolute pleasure, a truly remarkable car indeed.

i now own the car, aling itl faults where mentioned before me buyinig it,,nothing unexpected. ::)
many thanks scott, she will be repaired and used as my daily driver! ;D

oh and for tho's who know me, no its not going to have a supercharged 24v fitted, it will remain standard!
