Title: 1996 2.9 12v Estate for sale (South-East) Post by Unbeatentrack on Jun 24th, 2007, 10:45pm Hi guys, New job means I'm about to do lots of miles on business and a Focus diesel is on the way. It also means my tourmallard green, 1996 2.9 12v estate is for sale. Details: 87,000 miles, service history, full Ultima spec (and everything works!), facelift grill and lights, 12 spoke alloys in good condition with 4 new Bridgstones, tow-bar, pummice leather interior, 6-disc CD changer. I'll get a new 12 months MoT and there's tax 'til end-September. Bad bits: (I'll try and list them all for clarity): Rear bumper is cracked just above the tow-bar but will repair (my father reversed into something), nearside front wing dented just above wheel-arch (father fell into the wing), front bumper scratched (father touched the driveway wall), Morale of the story - keep your dad away from your car! It is due a service (last Ford service was at 72,000 - but I changed oil, plugs and filters at 82,000). I've owned the car since 2002 and have always invested in it (services, tyres etc). Generally reliable it's had usual problem(s) with rusted chassis legs (professionally welded) and moisture in fuse-boxes (I've rebuilt them, found no corrosion - pics available) - battery cover present and drain holes clear. The car is located in Littlehampton, West Sussex although it could also be viewed in Guildford, Surrey. I'm looking for £1,295 ono.
