All,

I have a T reg '99 Ultima estate auto 2.3 16v (!st registered May 1999 hence genuine T plate, date of manufacture Oct 1997, pepper red colour with a blown head gasket, 98k miles. Very good condition body work and interior, face lift front bumper and darkened headlights,these along with the bonnet and rear bumper were replaced with new parts 18 mths ago after a minor shunt, but took the opportunity to have the face lift parts fitted, such a shame I loved the car and have owned it since 16.5k miles. Have now replaced it with a SAAB Convertible ! So am open to offers to take as is if anyone interested in repairing or breaking for spares. Garage who initially investigated says head is warped and will need re-skimming, Also Heater did'nt work prior to the overheat (caused by a stuck thermostat) and subsequent laterly blown head gasket. So Heater matrix was suspected as in need of replacement as flushing did'nt cure. Only other non function was the cruise control.

Any interested parties please post on the forum , I'm located in NE Surrey. I'll try and take some photos at the weekend and put them up. I also have the remote global opening/closing mod, AC mod and auto locking mod all puchased form the scorpio site but had'nt got round to fitting. One further point both bumpers have two holes cut in them for the ford parking sensors which I will be removing, but leaving in the fitted shrouds in place.
