I am considering selliing mine in the next few weeks its a 98 S reg. Its got some service history, a new clutch, a new towbar, recaro interior, air con works as does sunroof/electric recaro seats/, Cosworth alloys, alarm etc.
Its taxed and MOT'd till July 2008.
Only a couple of probs, boot not quiet flush, slight scratches on bumper, (usual parking) What could it be worth? Any offers?

Hi stu,i would say between £600-£1200.Hard to say really without seeing it.Are you going for another one or has the missus won ;).If you still have it around the 11th of next month why not bring it down to the mids meet with a HUGE for sale sighn in it.Thats how i sold my last 2 cars.If we have the weather there is usually about 500-1000 people milling about,so your bound to create a bit of intrest :) There is a slight possibility my car may also have a sign in it (I want a cossie) ;D ;D

I haven't got a prayer of selling it at the minute, some tw?$t opened his door onto my car whilst i was driving along today, putting a dent on wing near mirror, smashed mirror off, scratched glass on both pass doors and dented and scraped both doors!!!!!
He then had the cheek to blame me, saying it was already open!
When i pointed out there was no damage to my bumper or wheelarch, the most prominent parts on the side of the car, he just looked at me!!!!!!!

Yes Im certain he does, plus when I spoke to body repair shop that Zurich want me to take my car to, he said on phone that if said parts all need replacing, they will prob write it off.

Stands a very good chance of writing it off im afraid.My 16v was wrote off for a bent towbar & shafted rear bumper.Luckily the towbar took most of the impact,so i brought it back from the insurance company for £35 (after they had paid out £600 for it initially) & put it back on the road for a grand total of £50.But be aware.If it is recorded as a cat c it will make the vehicle VERY hard to sell on (because of the stigma attatched) & getting a vehicle inspection of the repair work can be a nightmare.
