This post is for a friend of mine, looks like the timing chain has snapped and ruined the engine, so he will be getting rid.

Car is located in Birmingham. If anyone wants the whole car, or any parts let me know asap as it will be going to be weighed in for scrap.

Its a blue saloon, pre-facelift. This was my brothers car before my mate had it. The owner before had tons of paperwork with it - too much to list, but i do know the auto box was replaced about 2 years ago. The rear bumper has a bit of a crack in it, and i think the rad leaks a bit. Everything else is ok as far as i know, and it has mot till feb 09, tax till sept 08 (ish). Ghia spec, so no air con/fogs/leather etc.

Looks like it wasn`t the timing chains after all- after being in the services compound for 2 days, it started when we came to tow it home. The rad has blown though. ::)

This has now been scrapped. What a waste!

Think he just wanted rid. What a shame :'(
