I have owned Granada’s / Scorpioo’s for years and am now on my 2nd Ultima which is a silver P reg 2.3 with 82,000 miles on the clock. I bought this car from a garage mechanic in November 2007 with just over 70,000 miles on the clock at a cost of £1,000 and have since spent roughly £1,000 on it – (4 new tyres, complete new exhaust, new battery and a new emission sensor). The car has just sailed through its MOT – next due date 22/5/2010. The car is in immaculate condition and has the following modifications:-

1. Reclining rear seats from a Mk 1V Granada with switches in the rear and on the drivers console. (Used by the previous owner for his children on long journeys).
2. Electronic warning alarm fitted to the rear bumper
3. The air con modification as described on the Scorpio site.

All bills since I bought it are available and I am looking to see if I can recoup my initial £1,000 outlay.

The only reason the car is for sale is that one of my good golfing friends has had a 2.3 Scorpio Ultima estate which he has had since new, has only done 34,000 miles, and for reasons that escape me wants to get rid of it. I can’t turn this opportunity down especially as the only thing I don’t like about mine is that it’s a saloon. Why Ford did not make it as a hatch back is beyond me.

I am in Sheffield this week end with the car other wise its available to view in North London at any time.
