I take it this is the same car you've advertised on Gumtree for £2000 before the accident and £650 Saturday and £400 today? :o

I'd only really want it for the gearbox so in the region of £150.
You would probably be better off breaking it and advertising the parts on here if you want decent money.
Not worth putting back on the road imo so only really worth scrap.

don't take it personal m8 ;) but i really hate this kind of attitude... i love those cars above all and they already can be considered 'classics'
it maybe financially irrational to fix it but still it doesn't mean that it deserves a death penalty in the scrapyard. i'm sure it will find a good home where it will be loved and cared ;)
call me crazy but i really treat them as beings not as a metal box...

Cat C ? I'd say its a borderline cat B looking a the ripples in the rear quarter :( would need to see the boot floor to know if it had caused more extensive chassis damage.

I agree, these are getting rarer and need to be saved, but with the damage above and the fact most of the panels you'd need are extremely expensive or more likely just not available - so in this case i'd say it was a better donor of spares to keep another one alive.

Truly a shame given the pre-accident condition :(

I can't see Mr Plod being too happy me driving it in that condition from Bucks to Cambs but maybe I could hire a trailer?
