Post by andycam on Nov 4th, 2009, 8:42pm
Hi All
Iv'e got a feb 96 2.9 scorpio for sale.
I got it 2yrs ago to tow a small caravan.
Too big for us now.
MOT up in a couple weeks done 3000mls since last one
recent jobs rear brake pipes & pads.
bad news raidiator now leaking at nearside.
a few light scraches on body,
auto, velour upholstery no tears, five alloys
looking for a decent offer usefull to somebody rather than breaking or scrap.
hope to hear from someone
thanks Andy

Easy, if it's a 24v, Highlander will bite your arm off.
Apparently he's not a 12v man  ::)
Easiest way to tell is look under the bonnet.
If there's a big black plastic engine cover with COSWORTH on it its a 24v. If it's silver with EFI on it it's a 12v.

Andy.
The 24v should have a big plastic cover with Cosworth on it,the 12v has a ribbed aluminium plenum chamber with EFI on it,or reg doc should state engine type.

And the other way if you're lazy is to press trip reset until the beep, press once again and see "Type 10" coming up on the LCD.
