I wonder if it has the side airbags, as I'm sure very few facelift cars will have had them fitted as an optional extra. Then their is the 10 CD changer in the boot which can not be standard, or a mistake?

It does look a nice car though, but it is missing those all important headlamp washers I crave for my 2.9! :P

Surely it's not a facelift car? The grille sure looks chromed to me and the headlights are non facelift?

Not far from me but I can't justify a 3rd Scorpio (if only I had a drive/garage  ::) )

This one has been listed before ( always have a look at the white ones )  ;). Still yet to see another white facelift cossie estate  ::) ;D ;D. Does look nice & tidy though. Pity he's not closer  ;)

I think he has just ticked all the boxes because it also has xenons and side airbags. He is also advertising that it has an alarm too when everyone knows the Scorpio alarm is rubbish and that they are all disconnected behind the battery anyway at some stage!! ;D

correct its a p plate and not facelift model

If mere mortals only knew how well we can suss out a basking shark (One that just sits there for years and soaks up sunshine while someone tries to sell it).

Actually it does look rather nice and even has those rather spiffy reversing sensors.  :'( just like the ones on my 2litre retrofitted in Warrington.

remember build dates and registered date can be fairly wide apart.
I've just sold my Probe 24v - built 12/95, not registered until 02/97!!!!

also had an XR4i - Jan 85 build, registered late Nov 85 (making it a very rare C plate)

I have such an animal,Hull Pete's old gas powered 2.3 manual Ultima,built June 97,registered 26 Jan 1999,pre facelift of course !

i had a 2.3 black scorpio and i resprayed it  basecoat and laquer  she looked stunning and only done 48000 miles with service history
