You could always buy a pre facelift & convert it :o. funnily enough i know a chap who has all the parts you need ::) ::) ;D

I agree I spent quite a bit of time looking on the internet waiting for the right car to come along with low mileage. In the end I found two and one was a facelift version.

Beware a Facelift car with headlamp washers as if they don't work you will struggle to get spares. I was very lucky in the end that I got the parts needed, thanks to some kind person on this site that did a swap with me.

Keep an eye on this site and msn cars, plus ebay

My 2.3 Ultima Auto Estate will be coming up for sale shortly. Just in for MOT now. 1998 Facelift, around 83k miles I think. Towbar (single electrics).

I may sell my 2.5 TD Ultima 1998 S reg. 88K miles. Good condition in and out. Alternative is scrappage scheme and I would hate to do that to my trusty Scorp after 6 years. but £2k is £2k.

Sad though it is,you must scrap the old faithful under the H.M.Govt silly scheme if you stand any chance of £2000 or near to it.After all,consider the eastern motor industries survival :( doubtful that Morgan would take it on eh ::)
