I have owned this car for 6 years, there is now a problem with the engine, makes a tapping noise when accelerating, I have been told by two mechanics that it sounds like its comming from the top end, to the rear ? I think the car is to good to scrap, I am selling it with the personel plate if that helps it to sell. body work good, slight crack in front bumber, all the electrics work accept the heated seats, MOT too August 20th, tax to end of month. £350 Located south of Bristol, Whitchurch. hi there

i'd check that the spark plugs weren't lose or that the exhaust manifold isn't cracked before thinking about selling it.

Many thanks, for the advice Scorpio Man. I have tried the plugs, but not to sure about the manifold. I unfortunatly need to sell it as we have already bought another car and I did not want to part ex it to the garage for scrap.
