Title: My Cossie Post by Tons_of_fun on Jun 3rd, 2010, 5:02pm Hi all. There is a real possability that 'The Fridge' will be up for grabs after the Harewood show :-( . The sad reality is i can no longer afford to run it as my weekly commute has risen from 80 miles per week to just under 200 !!!. As hard as i try i just cant squeeze 200 miles out of £30 worth of fuel ( most of my driving done in an urban enviroment ). It has MOT till the middle of January & Tax till August. Full service history (14 stamps ) 12 of which were main dealer. Mileage is around 142k ( drives like 42 !!! ):-) . Added extras include , wood rim wheel, wood face rds 7000 head unit with the famous 'matt clay' Blue display :-), 17" alloys with good boots, plus a little bit of colour coding. So there ya go. Not too sure how much i want for the old gal & TBH i would like to replace her with a Scorpio diesel. Any questions...Fire away & im sure there might be a couple of pictures tucked away in the threads of this site to have a look at until i get my camera working / replaced. Thanks guys & gals... Craig :-) |

Title: Re: My Cossie Post by Tons_of_fun on Jun 3rd, 2010, 8:02pm Hi Len. It's a 98 Facelift estate in WHITE :-) :-). Ultima spec & in fine condition. The only additions it dosent have is reverse sensors & puddle lights ( the latter was never fitted to the facelift cars anyway ). Minor dent in the lower lip of tailgate ( opened the boot whilst still in the garage ). A few insignificant marks to the body, but you really have to look for them ;-) The only pther fault is the rear o/s electric window is not working at the moment, but should be sorted by the weekend. Have a look at the Sandwell show photos... Mine is the only white one there. Also look for a thread titled '17" alloys'.....or something like that. If anyone has any resent pics could they help me out a bit :-x. Cheers... Craig |

& here's me having just sold my 1998 diesel estate. Now I only live 2 miles from work & cycle in, I'm seriously thinking of getting a cossie as a weekend car. What sort of price do you have in mind? |
||
Title: Re: My Cossie Post by Tons_of_fun on Jun 4th, 2010, 3:59pm Aaahhhh Rob. Thats typical. A diesel estate would of suited me down to the ground. TBH i have no idea what i want for it. To me it's priceless,but i know i have to be realistic. There isnt really anything for sale that i can compare it to so setting a price is difficult. Think i will let the general opinion of the Harewood crowd set the standard ;-) ;-) |

||
Title: Re: My Cossie Post by Tons_of_fun on Jun 6th, 2010, 9:10am Hi Rich. The steering wheel was actually offered as an optional extra for the scorpio, but was so expensive not many people ordered it !!! I was fortunate enough to get the wheel from Bernie ( from scorpio unleashed ) who removed the wheel before he sold his car. I wont say how much i paid for it though ( just incase the wife logs in & has a look ) ;-). Len... P.M. sent m8. All the best ...Craig :-) |
