Hi all, i haven't been on this site for a while so thought i would give you the heads up on a ultima estate coming up for auction this Saturday at Anglia car auctions, its a 2 litre 1 owner 55000mls with full main dealer service history and VERY clean bodywork, estimate is 900 to 1500 pounds!! The only problem is that it would interfere with the weekly sojourn at the boozer :o,there are some desirable cars listed though,strangely I took a fancy to that low mileage cab,a rarity indeed,s'pose it's got more than a modicum of tinworm owing to age !

I owned one of those cabs for 13 years and the engines are bulletproof! 300,000mls and apart from general servicing never had a problem, unfortunately the same couldn't be said of the bodywork.

It seems that the scorpio didnt sell and remains availiable and gozz's cab sold for a whopping three thousand one hundred and fifty pounds!!

Good thing I didn't go then,because the buyer would have had to pay more than that,if it was bodily sound I reckon it was 5 grands worth as a future British icon classic.
There is little doubt that I was saved by the call of the boozer ;)

TFL have just brought in a 15 year age limit on London taxis so there will be a lot of these coming off the road, you can pick them up for about a grand at the moment.
