Title: Re: 95 2.0 Ultima Auto , Lincolnshire Post by Mike H on Oct 15th, 2011, 10:26am No nice pics. http://livinginthepast-audioweb.co.uk/images/misc/th_thumbsup.gif What's the colour? Can I just mention the 2L 16V may not seem exciting but is a good all round motor, got the sensible alloy inlet manifold and, being '95, the "better made" earlier version body shell. on 10/14/11 at 14:43:20, Stixy wrote:

Title: Re: 95 2.0 Ultima Auto , Lincolnshire Post by Mike H on Oct 18th, 2011, 11:27am Know what you mean, but strangely, Lincs countryside, at least fens area, is still noticeably different. Well to me. Whenever I drive up here there's always this "a-ha! Now we're definitely in the fens" moment. ;D |

I think its a case of a lot of people these days are afraid of big cars and how much its going to cost to run even though a 2.0 Scorp cost less to run than a 2.0 mondeo |

Title: Re: 95 2.0 Ultima Auto , Lincolnshire Post by PJDavis on Mar 4th, 2012, 7:07pm What a shame to see this car go for breaking. Have you started to break it yet? If you weren't so far away I'd be considering it for a mate of mine or myself as I have a 2.3 the same colour. |

Title: Re: 95 2.0 Ultima Auto , Lincolnshire Post by Stixy on Mar 4th, 2012, 9:01pm It is a shame but its sat around for 5 months of the mot , ive had a few people look at it but they all wanted to pay less for it than i could easily get for the diff . I havent started breaking it yet . The sad fact is At the moment i could sell the diff remove the cat and the alloys weigh them in followed by the rest of the car and beat my asking price for the whole motor . |

Heaven forbid! No No, I will have Sixty's car as a 'stable-mate' for starters, and I'll maybe use it a bit, and then pass it to a friend for a while. Eventually I might break it, or I might even put it for an MOT in October, see how it does! There are no certainties with car ownership that's for sure. But the best thing is, the 'Stable-Mates' are the same colour. I'll put pics up after the long journey home! |
