I just viewed this car as its 15 mins away from me. Its in pretty good condition, no timing chain rattle, interior is excellent. Bit of rust on rear arch and sills, the vendors wanted a bit more than I wanted to pay otherwise I would have bought. Looks great in white, It has retro fit rear parking sensors, its a 98 but has pre facelift grill and lights.

Really nice people, have looked after the car over the years clearly. Felt a bit guilty with my low ball cash offer, but it wasnt much less than I paid for my current ultima cosworth so not too guilty :)

Yeah i felt bad with my offer of around what the scrap man would pay. But we paid 450 for our 24v with 2 months mot and 6 months tax. This one is proberly better than i am picturing.
Hope someone can save this car.
:)

Here is an update for anybody with a genuine interest in owning this marque.

Today I took the car along for a MOT I was sure it would pass.

Well it did, no surprise there then with only the same advisory items as last MOT.

Both sills have slight corrosion.
Near side tyre worn, close to legal limit. (Might replace depending on offers)

Some more info.
First registered November 1997 on R plate.
Current Mileage 100,933
Full service History Ford till 73,028 then 84,123 independent.
Comes complete with all paper work from 1st service. (FSH)
I have been owner since I brought the car in July 2004

Complete with rebuilt remote key fob, black key and a red key.
Everything works as it should in the car, the only issue is the rear view mirror which has leaked, you can still see behind no problem.

Any questions please ask.

Jacquie. Get the centre consul protected. If that mirror leaks the gel is corrosive and will wreck anything it drips on to.
Details are Here (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pcmirror.htm)

Thanks
The mirror doesn't leak now, it has been like it for a few years. It doesn't worry me, just for info.
