Title: Ultima 24v for sale Post by Aguc on Mar 23rd, 2015, 6:54pm 1998 Scorpio Ultima 24v Mid Atlantic Blue Taxed till 31/03/2015 Mot’d till 03/12/2015 Bought at 92k now at 152k my everyday car for the last 6 years. Always Motorcraft parts & Ford oil every 5k. Drives lovely in good useable condition no smoke or rattles. Last of the species….deserves a good home! In the last 60k items replaced.. New radiator,waterpump, thermostat, bypass hose, top hose, lower hose, elbow hose, thermo housing seals & heaterpipe. New LF caliper and both rears, all flexy pipes. New front discs and pads. Both Cats, both flexys and resonator in stainless. New Propshaft mid bearing and Dounut flexy. New fuel Tank. New RF lower wishbone, RH inner tie rod. Both front droplinks and trackrod ends. New speed sensor, Varta Battery, Aerial whip. Bad bits: AC compressor leaking at seals, won’t hold gas longer than 4 days needs replacing. Radio display on holidays! Works otherwise. Temp gauge intermittent, works when cabin/dash warms up. Flashing OD…..lock up malfunction, Lock up works as it should on damp days suggesting A poor pin connection in the wiring harness. Bollard damage to rear bumper which has rubbed through paint at arch. Avon’s near their limit, metal brake pipes will need doing before next MOT. Photos were taken 23/03/2015.
