Title: Facelift 2.3 Auto Ultima Ford Scorpio Saloon Post by mondeoman on Oct 18th, 2015, 5:43pm Sadly the time has come to sell my wife's R reg facelift 2.3 Ford Scorpio Ultima. The car has been well looked after with the body being wax oiled twice and only used the best engine oil Castrol Edge in the car. I have all the receipts from everything done on the car, including servicing etc. I will throw in the spare oil I have for the car. It has never broken down and is mechanically and electrically ok. I am looking for around £1200 for the car which includes four Michelin Cross Climate tyres, which are no more than six months old and mean you don't need to change tyres in winter. These tyres alone cost me around £500. The Good Things: Automatic gearbox 104,000 miles on the clock Cross Climate Tyres fitted Ford 6000 Single CD Player and CD changer in the boot Working Rear View Dimming mirror Full Black Leather Headlamp washers with original covers on both Parking sensors fitted to front and rear, although front disconnected at present Electric sunroof Full Climate Control and heated front seats Full electric driver and passenger seats with driver memory function. Passenger mirror dips when reverse gear selected. The bad bits: One rear arch is starting to rust and a slight amount of corrosion on the other side. A stone chip corrosion on one door. I have taken a number of pictures of the car: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/xzwrhrp3j6cxs2o/AABrn2LQg5Vv9MGMOYdmBYDXa?dl=0 I do have a set of 12 spoke wheels and tyres for sale separately, if your interested with a set of Continental Premium Contact 2 tyres fitted. If anybody has any questions, then please let me know. My mobile number is 07971391728. Cheers, Simon |

Title: Re: Facelift 2.3 Auto Ultima Ford Scorpio Saloon Post by PJDavis on Oct 23rd, 2015, 11:28pm That is a very nice car. A wee pity about the rust on the wheel arch and door, but both very easily sorted. If only I had £1200 to waste on more cars! I already have four cars, Three Jags (one from '58) and the Scorpio, the Scorpio is the fav'. What with that and the Bikes, the wife refuses any more toys! Low-ish mileage too. Unusual colour I think. I really hope you sell it, sorry I can't help. |
