Should be a 16 valve car? I believe it was just the "Executive" model that was 8 valve?? Very nice!

Noticed badge on rear window just said Scorpio nothing else, if that is a clue?

If you look at the photo of the gear surround there looks to be an Ultima badge on the surround and the seats are leather. :)

The 'Ultima' badge is a separate part - might have fallen off or did the early Ultima models just not have it ?

The early cars only had scorpio badging on the back doors, Ultima was added later think it's just one badge though same as scorpio ghia is

My ultima 95 has no ultima badge on the gerbox surround, it will be a 16 valve as 8 valves are base models, also has the small radio (2007 b****r to find) possible non dipping rear mirror (tied in with full electric seats (both) as the pump up on the passenger side was early cars, changed mine and "presto" dip mirror works!! but still cant get 1 touch on drivers window.
Leather seats were standard, cloth is more comfy if you wear shorts though? (oap's with shorts!).

Can anyone trace the exact spec of my jan 95 cos? as I reckon it WAS cloth trim before C Nickless had it before me

Roy, you are on very dangerous ground! ;D but you are right. In the recent hot spell it was necessary to cover my seat before jumping in and leaping out!. I use the word 'leaping' advisably ;D

It is unwise to use a towel for the purpose as it simply suggests that there might be another problem! ;D ;D

Hi simmo,
Those of us that live in the South wear shorts most of the time 'cos it's to b*** hot otherwise, so to save roasting your coconuts we prefer cloth trim or air con that works.
Anyone got 3 sets of cloth trim in good nick ???

Always thought leather was an extra cost option even on the Ultima but not available on the base model ?

Saw that this just ended at £940, with a fair amount of bids, I'd say someone got a good deal, hope its someone on the forum.

Shows us what they are really worth even with a low-mileage. Good cars that are under-rated, but one would need to be able to look-after the car or have a very friendly mechanic that you could trust.

Ebay is not the place to sell your car unlees you go for classified ad format.
Too many wallie's and chancers, low rated bidders who think it's good fun to jack a price up £5 at a time then the odd sniper at the end p*ing off real interested people, and, of course the non paying bidder. This leads to a relisted car later that week.

Had it been auto I would have had it as i need a tidy estate but not Cossie because others in the family have to drive it, if you hear of a nice one please let me know.

As PJs has said several times Scorpios are bad financial news, for us that know and understand them they are great cars, but Jo public hasn't got a clue with interest to match.... still we know better don't we?
