This estae has come south from hilton road garage up north and suddenly increased in perceived value by some £3000 they do not show underside but I enquired about this car when previously for sale and have a set of photos from then showing work done. (I didnt buy it).

The estate does look very nice and desirable, but a great deal of money. Not that far from me, not that I could travel that far at the moment even for work - it's outside our area. The saloon's been up for sale for a while I think.

Quentin I have a fecelift estate 2.3 for sale, probably better than that one as the underside ahs all been fixed, just headlining to do, and needs using, nice atlantic blue also (like mats from exeter was)........ tempting hmm more room than in a moggie thou as well.... only 84 on the clock 1 previous owner fsh etc now get the wallet out my friend??

Gerald on the cossie estate, they have been done and the cam chains, full history on this one, and a lot done by the gargae also, was interested but the floor put me off, if I can find the description again will attach it here.

Simmo thanks for the proper links, can't teach an old codg new tricks, or summat like that. I'm old leave me alone :) :D

No not quite, but just a (master) bakers dozen short.

Still have a sense of humour though, essential if you own a scorpio (or 2 ish) & of course still a child

Dave, you did teach me, but I forgot ;D worse still I cant find the message from you to remind me of what it is that I have forgotten, so I tried remembering but forgot what it was I was trying to remember in the first place.

As for grumpy when roused try paying in at santander bank now we're grounded, stupid staff there cant even measure 6'8" (2 meters to the trendys) and hauled me out over it, wanted me to stand closer and went off with a sulk when rebuffed, you can't get rid of me that easy, I even wear bright T shirts now so they have no excuse to leave me behind 8)

Any way this is the cars for sale section, not much selling here then? still have 2 too many.

More room than the Moggie yes, but the downside of that is, it was a snug fit in the home garage and didn't fit in the lockup, with the Moggie you can walk right round it. 84 on the clock is less than my daily car! I'll get another big car one day but I'll want a big enough garage first.

Hi Quentin

I have a spare big car and 70 concrete blocks, so you buy the big car and I'll give you the concrete blocks to improve the size of your garage :D you can carry the blocks in the back (estate car so loads of room) and this will make it sit well on the road on the journey home!

As the moggie will be worth more than the scorpio so you sell that then you will have room in the garage and money to fix the garage (saving on the blocks-remember) and put cheap petrol in it so you can use it ;D

It needs using, I wont drive a 2.3 as I like cossies:):)

Yes please, let me ask you a question Roy, ye a font of all knowledge.

One of my Bikes MOT is due on June 12th, will it get a six month extension from June 12th, (to December 12th) and when will I be notified if it does? Full explanatory answer please.

Hi Peter, trust you're staying "local" (or going loco!!) with all this due to the bad govt we have, couldn't run a tap could they!! ;D

Short answer today as I may be bored tomorrow and need summat to look forward to.

IF your MOT runs out after the 30/3/2020 you have a 6 months period which is added to the original date of expiry (of the MOT not the owner).

I dont think they will notify you as Boris has used all the stamps sending us good wishes, and sorry we ignored the 2016 trial run to do with terrorist viruses, noted what we should have done but swept it under the carpet

This means that the MOT expiry date for your car, van or motorcycle may not yet be showing the 6 month extension.

Great solution that, I like it. There is a story about my garage actually, it sits under the house but the back wall is about 8' short of where the building finishes, always wanted to find out what sits behind the back wall, could be cheaper than buying another garage, or a house with bigger garages.
Re. the MoT, the garage that does mine is still doing them so should be able to get it on time anyway, but the 6 month extension could be very handy otherwise.
