Title: Scorpio Values
Post by pyramidls on Jul 12th, 2021, 7:57pm
What are the current values of Scorpio's?  It seems hard to gauge as there don't seem to be many left and they don't come up for sale that often.  Does the scarce availability of parts have an effect on values or indeed make the ones that are left more valuable?
Is there any demand for these vehicles?

IMHO, yes they are increasing and dealers in particular are seeking those with clean history (and lots of it if possible) to invest in now as so few around.

The days of picking one up for a few hundred £s are gone even the the really bad ones yeild much for spares to keep the rest on the road, having my first scorpio ('95) in late 2016 have learnt to love them and feel sure many on here would agree its just a nice motor-hated by many who have never driveen one and much in front ot it's time.  The hated headlights spawned many copies within a few years and the 2.9 24v engine was i believe the most powerful normal aspirated engine for its size when introduced.

Love 'em or hate 'em they can and will prove a good investment over time if you keep them nice, you can of course take all the badging off and make the lesser mortals guess what it is and why its left you way behind on the "slab".

;D :o ::)
