Hi all hope you are all well,

Just seen this, I have done a search and I don’t think I have posted it before. Red 24v with 48,000 miles on the clock R457 EDV, based in Essex £8,495. Just wondering if it might of been in Spikies collection.

Kind regards
Michael

Cannot answer your query, but that car is odd. its up for sale for £7495 on ebay and various online websites, but on the dealers website its up for £8495 which its not worth imo.

Its not a Facelift, so not one of the last one produced. Still a nice car though :D

Hasn't this one been around before, was it photo'd indoors at one time?

It seems R reg cars may or may not have lights, grolles, front bumpers and rear seats with extra headrests (2 forms of seat belt anchor in floor), and genarally as some one on here wrote "any bits they had around" on the last 6000. Our blue estate is a true last effort and has all of the bits it should being may 98.
However the 2.3 saloon I had (now resting in a barn in zummer zet) only had the grille was aug 97, and my silver cos estate although registered later as nov 97 had no facelift bits at all.

NOW I'm old..........and confused

:) ;) :D ;D >:(......bored now ::)

This car was finally shifted through a auction last Saturday by the dealer who had it up for £8,495 on his essex website. it sold  at auction for £6,300. bear in mind buyer and seller fees plus VAT on top  to pay. This is a minty low mileage ultima so anyone sitting on a private mint high mileage ultima is looking at £4,500 to £5k. As much as i would like to acquire one, these cars have been over priced by dealers and over enthusiastic owners nursing one or two in a garage looking for a killing. The buyers for these cars are just not there. finally even the overpriced 2.3 ghia in Yorkshire has disappeared off the website after months of not achieving a buyer at £8k because it had 6k miles on the clock presumably put back into mothballs until next year.
