I spotted this on ebay,

and someone at frod needs a slap, the scorp should never be pea green, it is just wrong.

Have a look and see what you think, wrong wrong wrong.

LOL

In fairness, this was the colour used by the special edition Scorpios issued to the German emergency services and was a 'mandated' colour - a bit like all Navy ships being painted 'battleship grey'.

Why this one was actually ordered in that colour if it wasn't previously a 'services' vehicle is beyond me however.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrr Looking at that wants to make me spew.

who in their right mind will drive a car in that colour. But on the other hand ther are germans. ;D ;D and apperance doesent realy matter to them.

OK, all is now revealed!

Es ein Ex-BGS Behördenfahrzeug

Which translated means that this vehicle came from the German Border Guard Service so as I suggested earlier it was ordered for use by the Army and is in a mandated colour.

Anyone who bought it would have to budget for a respray or perhaps they could get away with buying a secondhand uniform from the local army surplus :)

I presume the German Border Guards hide in fields a lot then! I hope they have some sort of audible devise to locate the car if they leave them!!john.n ???

Norw. Police is boaring... Only ugly volvos...

I hate Volvos too actually - before I had my Scrop I had an personalityless S40. The gearbox went at 80k and that browned me off in a big way. Pity, the boxy swedes are now part of the Ford group!

i like green ,green is the colour of beauty ,trees are green plants and grass are green .we all go to the country to see the colour green ,its a calming colour ,the tv stars have green rooms to relax in 8)..........................................................................................................mind you bile is green......lol its awfull aint it

I saw that too Daven. I think your wife may be wrong however. I think the colour is called Overdraft red. Quite apt if things start to go wrong on the scorp!! He.He. john.n ::)
