Title: Herts Meet; Sunday 16th Jan...... Post by waders on Dec 27th, 2004, 2:46pm Hi all ;), The next date for a Herts area meet has been agreed as Sunday the 16th of January ::). Same Pub (The Three Horseshoes, Hooks cross, SG14) from around 2pm (food available from midday :P) 'till we get bored :o OBD will be available, as my lead has arrived, to any that have problems or maybe just for interest. (I'd like to do all the cars and maybe start a log of results, sorry 12v owners OBDII don't work for you :(). So I'd love to see all who came last time and hopefully some new faces as well :o As ever ALL are welcome from here and GSO. 8) ;D 8) ;D 8) Waders. |

Hello Barry ,perhaps this response is long overdue but other matters predominated,Iwould like to thank you and your good lady for being so kind as to offer some very good advice,remember the trouble I had with the throttle not returning to its normal position. Well good news it seems to have returned to normal with the tickover at the correct speed. Needless to say I'm chuffed at the difference it has made, perhaps I should mention that I was the old gent that parked next to you on your n/side . The interest that others also showed that day was very gratifying. I arrived rather aprehensive as to my reception amongst you by the virtue of my age, and it soon became obvious that my presence was very welcome, it made me realise that age does'nt really bother yourselves. The following meal we all enjoyed seemed to confirm that point. If you are aqainted with the young chap that bought me the pint of beer I would appreciate it if you would convey my thanks to him for being so generous,because he didnt want to drink any more....... Gives you that nice warm feeling inside, don't it :-[ 8) ;D 8) ;D 8) |

Post by gibbio on Jan 8th, 2005, 6:19pm waders, just to let you know car is smother after cleaning maf, but still no 4th gear and o/d light flashing, this seems to be my only real problem (Ihope ) going to speak to the dealer where I got her as I have a warranty on engine, axle and gearbox and see what he says better be sorted before the 16th |

Was a really enjoyable afternoon, was great seeing soooo many scorps in one place!! Cant wait 2 see the photos!! An added bonus was, my scorp didnt have any probs!! Woo-Hoo!! haha. Anyways, jus wanted 2 say "thanx" and "well done" 2 all those who took the time and trouble 2 organise the meet, and made me feel extremely welcome!! Many thanx, 2 barry 4 checkin my car over with his laptop as well!! Lookin forward 2 the essex meet on the 30th. Hope 2 b at the herts meet again next time!! t.t.f.n!! ;D |
