As we all seem to be getting on so well and many of the people that post here have asked me to I thought I would let you all know of the Essex/ Kent meet this month.

Each month we take it in turns to share the event between the two regions. This month it is in Essex at the Halfway House on the A127 (peice of pie to get to)

Next month it will be at Orpingtion in Kent at the Badgers Mount Pub near Pole Hill..

We have been alternatiing this event for many years.. All are welcome! It is normally very well attended.

Half Way House is a great pub - we normally have a bit to eat around 1ish.

Dennis Clarke runs it for the Essex region - some of you will know him back in the days of the Granada Enthusiats Club. They bring some very nice MK2 Granadas to the meet. lots of Mk3s and a good share of Scorpios!

Yeah, that's going to be a sad sight :'(

I was very nearly in the same boat though. I just popped out for 10 minutes and got cut up really badly by some old boy on a roundabout. How I avoided him, I'm not sure, but all being well we'll be arriving in one piece.

I'll be easy to spot too. I'll be the one with the "geek sheet" in the window. It's just some info about the car I printed out. Maddy reckons I'm too sad for words :-[

Yes there is paul. the car is a 1.8 with vvc. it oes like stink when you play with the gears but i get told off when i do that :P :P "you will break it"........ Lynn thinks she is a girle racer now as she bought sum Ripspeed mats with chequer plater on them :-[.... neons next and illuminated washer jets LOL

anyway mate,was it lynn that passed her test in an auto ?,if so,i am assuming that you obviously cant drive a manual,but yes you can drive a tiptronic ?....

cure my curiosity this will ??? ??? ???

Yo Craig.......... hows tricks m8y? Spose ive cooled off a bit . took the dog for a long walk and smoked millions of fags... LOL. As for your question ,your right. Lynn did pass her test in an auto. He car is fully automatic but there is "man mode" where you can knock the lever over to the right into sport mode and leave the gear ratio's as they are or use the lever to manuallly change gears. its fully sequential like a BTCC car.....

That was a good little meeting today.
What a nice bunch you all are! ;D

Thanks Barry for doing the OBD scan for me. I must say I was surprised that anything cropped up, but pleased that its nothing serious.

Good job I took my camera today and took all those photographs ::) :-[
