Hi all!! After last nights incident, where my dads scorpios rear end got rearranged, the insurance company delivered his, "like for like" hire car...... A fiat stilo!!!! :o This was after bein told, on the phone, by the insurers that he would get a similar car!! :-/ Since when is a stilo similar to a scorpio?? ??? Ok, Ok, its got four wheels, an engine etc, but thats where the similarity ends!! Wouldnt have been quite so bad if the badges had been the same!! ;D

I do find some insurance company interpretations amusing! Maybe it's because both names begin with "S"

I've always thought those horrible little corsa things they give you should be called discourtesy cars! ;D

Think yourself lucky I have been given a Ford Ka R reg which hasnt even got power steering or central locking while my pride and joy gets fixed - and they have had it for two weeks now and all it needed was a bumper and grille!

The last courtesy car we had was a vectra SRI.

This was in exchange for a crappy L reg Renault Clio, which was pretty broken, and was written off by someone driving into the side of it from parked.

Perhaps there is some kind of inverse law applying to courtesy car choice?

Waders I got told off by the wife when I showed how well the Ka hand brake turned - she said it wasnt its fault that it was a lease car! I replied that it didnt excuse it for being a Ka, she just doesnt get it!

Strange, how comes ford produce sporty versions of there cars, and call them Si.... Notice they never done that with the Ka!! (Hope u all know the punchline!!) ;D
