Right everyone, i need your help.

Me and a few others are trying to organise an auction for the Sunday before the bank holiday, to raise some funds for the upkeep of the site.

Parts will be scorpio related, service items and some parts and i need donations,please email me if you have something you wish to donate, please PM me as I would like to make the items in the auction a suprise and interesting.

I know parts cant be interchangeable but what he winner cant use they can sell on and make some money back.

The auction will be held on the site, bidding from 8pm Sunday 1st May until 8pm Monday 2nd May, winning bidder takes all.

Come on everyone we all benefit form the site and the bandwith must be costing a fortune, so I need your help and support.

PM me now and we will egt this up and running.

Come on people, how many replies have I had, how many offers, 2, and those people were contacted before I posted.

I must say I am dissapointed and quite suprised.

We all benefit from the forum, and it is the best on the net, lets give something back, please.

I will ask again, all offers gratefully accepted, come on people.

it's a good idea, but i don't have anything to donate :(
all i've got is my time and my obd-2 lead. so if anyone wants a scan/advice, say for a fiver to the site, let me know! ;D (within a reasonable distance) :o

Bump this back to the top, well still no new offers so am i to decide this idea is a damp squib, no interest, or just apathy.

If that is the case can we have so ideas for raising some funds for the site, we must be able to come up wth something as a group.

Or do we still go with the auction idea?

I must say i am a bit dissapointed but not in the slightest suprised.

i'm going to try and drum up some business at work by putting a sign in the cars in the carpark. something like....http://www.anyboard.net/autos/cars/scorpio/posts/358.html ;)

Where is the Auction going to be held ?

Do you accept Bric - a - Brac etc etc or does it have to be Scorpio related

The auction is held on the forum, online and it needs to be servicable scorpio bits, stuff you could use yourselves, ar if not applicable to your car, sell on

Ok Understood - I thought it was an Auction to be held at a Scorpio meeting

Like a Car Boot - everyone brings some stuff - sell it - , proceeds go to the site

Maybe thats an idea for the future - Scorpio Boot Sale - they are big boots [] - so plenty of items for all ;D

Maybe something to try at ane of the various meets, i know billing do this.

Nope auction is just for scorpio related stuff, service items whatever we can get.

Best way I can describe this is stuff you would be willing to bid and buy yourself.

Sorry for the tardy reply - just back from hols. Unfortunately I haven't got anything to be able to pass on for auction at the moment, however if around would bid on a front bumper or indicators and poss other things if the good lady didn't find out.
