Firstly I'd like to thank everyone who has donated to the Ford Scorpio site over the last year - we don't acknowledge them individually but please be assured that they are a great help.

We are just about to renew the charges for the servers for the next year and as the site, forum and message board now consume over 35 GB of data traffic every month it looks as though we will have to pay a bit extra this year.

So this is just a quick note to everyone to say that if you were thinking of making a donation, however small, then it would be greatly appreciated at this time.

Some members have asked about other methods of donating rather than using PayPal however it's been difficult to setup bank accounts etc to handle relatively small amounts of money and so we'd like to continue using PayPal - you can use a credit or debit card with them without needing to register etc.

Anyway, that's enough begging :)

I once sent a donation through the post and you recived it,.Could I do this again because I don't have paypal, or anyother way to donate electronically?
An address would do! ( I lost it from last time,sorry)

What account name etc do we use for paypal?.....I've only ever used it once and that was on ebay!

There's a PayPal 'donate' button on the top banner - I'd imagine you just click on that...

I'm a bit scuppered with the paypal thing.....used it once before and registered my card, now it won't recognise my e-mail address or password and it won't let me re-register 'cos it says my card number is already linked to another account!!!......I KNOW IT IS....ITS MY ACCOUNT... LET ME IN!!! ??? :-/

Give paypal uk a call - that happened to me, but they sorted it out for me!

Anyone else noticed that we have 3 new smileys in the main reply section?

I'm still trying to edit the code to add them to the quick reply bit that I added last night }{

I tested it today and it seems to be ok now but then with PayPal you never quite know.

Paypal works fine.I made a small donation yesterday under the name of Clark.

You couldn't get such good advice and help this cheap from any garage.Ford main dealers haven't got the know how members of this site have.

My wife thought I was the only mad b--ger who's obsessed with a Scorpio.

As a newbie in owning a Scopion and member a big thank you to Admin and the members..

Just reading the posts and now found the Paypal link...
small donation on its well derserved way..a cracking site
both in layout and standards...please keep it up...GREAT

A couple of quid from a few people every so often makes a huge difference between the site being sulf funding and it coming out of my own pocket (again) LOL

And a massive THANK YOU to the person who sent us 50 quid last week - I won't embarress him but just to say that this weeks bandwidth is on him :) - so use it wisely LOL
