Title: Re: Top Gear franchise ! Post by Eric_R on May 8th, 2005, 9:08pm Yep - there we are, too. 8) Well done, STN. BTW, there are a few Scorpio owners in Eastern Europe who are asking about removing their catalysts and running with straight pipes. Do you do a replacement pipe for them? Might be a throught if it's not too expensive to set up. |
||
Title: Re: Top Gear franchise ! Post by SaveTheNight on May 8th, 2005, 9:53pm yes Eric .. we already make the de-cat pipes for all Scorpio models .. replacement pipes with lambda bosses in .. stainless of course including the bosses ... STN |

Title: Re: Top Gear franchise ! Post by admin on May 13th, 2005, 10:13pm Regarding the new exhaust system for the Corvette can you do something like this? http://images.fotopic.net/y5ud3a.jpg In which case I'm very interested :) Steve |

Title: Re: Top Gear franchise ! Post by SaveTheNight on May 14th, 2005, 1:32am er ...no Steve ! ..we can make them better !!!! :o :o.. the manifold flanges appear to be 6ml stainless laser cut and need to be 8 or even 10 on the Vette and I doubt that the primaries are anywhere near equal length although an attempt has been made on the passenger side manifold to match the first and fourth ..the bend is fabricated well and we can do that if you wish but we have special tooling that will mandrel bend that center line radius ,which is slightly better albeit a little un-necessary .. they also appear <and I may be wrong but it's hard to tell on the pic > ..to be inch and a half 316 bright polished stainless and that is brilliant material but too brittle for the Vette in the long term ..also need to be inch and three quarter..there's no way to see inside the primary four into one cones on the pic but we do a specially shaped angle cut velocity tip in ours to improve flow, volumetric efficency and air speed .. on the drivers manifold the first and fourth primaries are also unbalanced but maybe to miss and obstacle ... they do look great though to be fair !! .... cheers and let me at em !! .... Bill hmm .. it is a left hooker I take it Steve ? ..and what is the firing order < can't remember > |

I'll be in touch when I get my hands on the car etc and I'll email you the full specs of the engine (SBC 350 TPI) asap Thanks :) Steve PS these are ceramic coated - not 316 bright. The ceramic coating sure looks good and helps keep underhood temps down too. |
