and the Jag .. wow ! .. I hadn't been noticing either < for several years actually > .. and there it is .. I agree with all you say ... just hope that in the future the awful depreciation slows down a bit .. lot of motor now though I must admit .... cheers again .... STN

ps.  still reckon you will miss the sunroof with that STETSON hat !!

Yep... another one for the Jag here. If only I had the money  :-/ ::)
The interior is sheer class, but kind of looks familiar. I could feel quite at home in that car I think.

Good work though Eric  :)

Yes, until recently I was for the Lexus, too.  Except the 430 is ugly now, rather than handsome like the LS400.

And until I drove the XJ.  Sheer class wins, IMO  ;D

It doesn't have the cathedral silence of the Lexus - but it's very close, while the handling and the torque and the sound system and the wood and the leather and the beauty of it ...  It has to be the best Jaguar ever made - including the XK.  But that is simply stunning ...  Wait for that to come out in alloy ...  :o

No STN - bring on the depreciation!  That way I can afford it sooner !  ;D  The trouble is it's so well engineered and the satisfaction rating is so high it'll keep it's prices much higher than previous models - MMW.

I too am looking for a replacement and a Jag is on the cards as well.. Looking at ALL the options, just like Eric but think the Scorpio will stay with me though.

Cost is the biggest thing for me now though , unless I have won the lottery!
