Hi guys and gals...

What do you think my car is worth?

1998 R Scorpio Ultima Saloon 2.3i 16v Metallic Dark Blue

Everything works.

84,000 miles with FSH. The last service was carried out by me plus a load of other things.

Brand new exhaust, thermostat, new drive belt, completely new and installed Full Cut Off Loom plus a few other things.

MOT' till 9th September and I think Taxed till end of September

The inside is immaculate and the outside including wheels is superb. There are a couple of very minor stone chips.

It has passed OBD Tests a number of times (no errors).

Someone is trying to make me an offer.. As we all know the book prices are not reflective of good examples or work carried out..

I am not sure what it is worth. I paid slightly over the top but I feel, and it has been backed up by many on here that I do have a superb example.

Hi Phil,

if it were mine, as a private sale, I would look for around £2500 I guess, should be more with the amount of work you have done though but as you rightly say that doesn't seem to be the way it goes :-/

Someone is has made a number of offers for it and I just wanted to know.. As for going back to a Granada - I have always had one and still do as well as the Scorp.. :D

if you do like the car,why even consider selling it,fair enough,the guy might make an offer you cant refuse,but then you have the grief of finding another one.

or are you after something completely different..???

In hinesight I dont think I made the right decision on the 2.3 engine.. It returns very little in economy. My 24v was almost the same and I miss the power...

Trust me.. I love it and I am not getting rid.. I simply just wanted to know what the opinion is.

hmmmmm..
understand what your saying about the differences between the 16 and the 24v.....
wish you all the best what ever you decide...
must add this though,the 24v i have use of at the moment returns a lot less in the MPG stakes than my 2.3,my 2.3 seems to be not too bad on the petrol front.
