Title: Easynow from a newbie Post by daftbugga on Jun 14th, 2005, 4:29pm Easynow everyone I have become the proud owner of a 2.5 Ghia TD, 1995 N reg with a mere 69k on the clock in excellent condition. Only had it for three days and the lower pulley fell off????? £225 later she runs better (and quiter) than it did before. Haven't had a chance to check yet but hoping for a better fuel return than the 7 series BMW (18-20 to the gallon) I sold before ::) ;D It goes brilliantly and all me pre concieved thoughts about a diesel have disappeared quite quickly, my only problem at the moment.....do they make these as automatics??? :-[ If you see me on my travels say hi 8) N*** HGV and its green |

Title: Re: Easynow from a newbie Post by nic on Jun 14th, 2005, 4:38pm Hi and welcome to the site, were a nice bunch really, well most of the time. i think you should see better MPG than the BMW and a rarer car. They did an auto TD but not until the facelift came out i think, last one i saw for sale was stupid money as it was a low miler 50,k on a 's' plate. common problem the pulleys, but as its fixed now you should be sorted. The engine is the good old VM engine and they are pretty bullet proof, someone on here had over 250k on theres so thats not bad. Enjoy your stay, have a laugh and look forward to reading your posts. might even see you around, maybe at Billing later in the year. |

What happens at Billing? Do you go as a club or just meet there ??? Easynow ;D |
