Hi there,
After a long hard think, Im gonna get rid of my scorp. I dont really want to but its not practical for me anymore. Ive just had it priced for part ex in a local garage and I nearly choked on my free cup of tea!!! 600 quid against a 5000 car! So Im looking at selling it private but Im not sure where the best place to advertise it is. Its a 2.3 ultima on a p plate and in good nick but needs a couple of minor jobs done on it. Help me out, I dont know where to start or how much to ask for!!

Its a saloon. it needs the sunroof sorting(think the wire has come off so it wont open or shut) and the ashtray is open all the time. Just had new brakes on the back but Im getting a bit of a shudder when I brake so I think the front ones wont be far off. Ive also had a new head on in the last twenty thousand miles so the engine is pretty good and apart from the odd mark here and there on the body its not in bad nick. I might try ebay although I think people get put off with all the scammers on there.

Go back to your dealer and slap him. Then ask him what he thinks makes his car worth £5000

Can anyone tell me how much I should be asking for? Its done 116000 miles and its got good s/h. If I take the plunge and buy a new car, then I wont really have the room for it no more so I will have to sell it!!!

Just had a browse on the classifieds and it seems that all cars stay on there until sold. Either that or some people are asking a fortune for there car. Am I right and does anyone know if they go in any special order, ie newest advert first

Yes, cars stay on the site until sold - I think we have had about 20 of them that have been sold via the website. Some of them have been sold and the owners haven't informed me and so there may be some out-of-date ads in there which is a pain - sorry - however most people have been successful in selling at fair prices.

It's pretty cheap advertising for 10 quid :)

Right. Im gonna clean her up and slap her on! Ive just picked up an mg zr and all I am doing is thinking about all the toys my scorps got. God Im gonna miss her, but Im the only one who drives so I dont need two cars :'(

So anyone wanting one, keep your eyes open in the calssifieds, because she will be on there in a couple if days and im letting her go for £1200! BARGAIN !!!!!
