I will sell my Scorpio to the first person who gives me £1000 for it.

Just serviced it, it has 90,000 miles and has been off the road for the last 8 months becuse Corina (wife) has now got a van for the flwoer shop, OH yea Im putting it through a MOT 14th November.

I want it to go to a good home. (and I cant have it for now, domestic reasons)

I have traded it in for a Mondeo 2.0 TDCi Zetec, Roll on 50mpg, I got £1300 along with £8000 I had to put with it for a 2003 Siver Mondeo, ah well it was good when it lasted and I enjoyed the Scorpio, although I still have it, Picking up the Mondeo Tuesday and saying farewell to the Scorpio, The only thing I wont miss is the 25mpg other than that it was a fine car. Some may look at me as a trader but I trying something else out. In all the 3 years I had the Scorpy it never let me down I hope the Mondeo can give such service. I will be keeping a track on what is going on here.

i'm sure your gonna miss your scorp (apart from the mpg)

Yep, your Scorp has done you proud John. As you say, let's hope the Mondeo does the same.
Been good though aint it? And you still have 'those' photos to prove it ;)

You right there Paul and in years to come will be treasured as the good old days, yep and some day I'll be saying to some grandchildren they dont makim like that anymore, even the salesman at the garage was suppreised at all the extras, I know if I miss it i can get my fix here ecuse the punn.

I truly love the car but a change is nessesary and I wont move away from ford as they have proven reliable every time.

I picked up the Mondeo today, I was very supprised at the quality of it, it is really well built, the tdci engine pulls like a train, put the foot down in Second gear and nothing and 1/2 second later the turbo wakes the engine and it pulls like hell, Dont get me wrong it will never replace the luxury I enjoyed but its doing a blo ody good job so far. ;)
