Title: It looks like a Merc E Class... Post by Penguin on Feb 13th, 2006, 2:26pm I was just thinking that the Scorp doesn't really deserve all the ridicule it has had over it's looks. There's a Merc E class estate (of today's model) parked next to mine - also silver and also an estate - at this moment. Apart from the badge there is very little difference in the front end appearance. Actually there is one - the fact that my car is 8 years old and the Merc is only 1 year old. As a recall the Merc from 1998 was a rather square thing. So Ford created (11 years ago) the design that many big cars of today (look at Lexuses, Mercs, et cetera) seem to have been based on today, and yet got laughed at for it. Still you can't complain - you could probably get 10 of my car for the price of that Merc.... :) Cheers Penguin |
