Title: COSSIE!!!!
Post by mazzy_j on Feb 17th, 2006, 7:06pm
Weyyyyyyyy Heyyyyyyy I have a Cossie! Compared to my diesel i can only describe it in one word, completely and utterly  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D inducingly MAD! Oooooh and the sound of that engine...

Bought it for £200 off good old e-bay with a non-working speedo, 47 of my pounds later for a new VSS from my local FMD, under an hour to fit and hey presto, one working speedo! What a result  ;D

that's the way to do it - bought 2nd one myself 78K but no 1st gear - gambling that easy to fix - will soon know as doing next week - otherwise plenty of spares for little cost
now you can look forward to Cossie ownership both ups & downs!!!

Cheers, not having an auto before i found the 'S' button made things ratherly interesting once pressed  ;D

I did actually win one in barnsley the week before, phoned the guy up and he said the engine was making a lot of noises so that one was a no no  :( Then saw the grey one in Upminster - literally 30 secs down the road from me. Went round and had a look, took my chance and it paid off   ;D  The autobox goes into O/D fine and changes up nice and smoothly.

In the description it said there were a few dents and scratches, as of yet i havn't found any, let alone any rust on the paintwork  :)

Having a derv the one thing i that shocked me most was the 5mpg the trip comp was saying at times  :o though i was wearing my lead shoe at the time so that may posssibly explain... Did manage 30mpg at 50mph so it is possible to do better.

Coughs and sneezles spread diesesals.

There is a character in Thomas the Tank Engine called diesel and he always gets called diesesal by the naughty steam engines!

Woah, haven't seen that episode since I was a kid (many of you will probably argue that I'm still a kid, but  ;D)

Just want to say congrats to mazzy_j, and wish I had one. Still haven't had the chance to try the cossie power.
