Hello!

Even if I announced the purcase of a 1996 24v Ghia Estate in the end of my buyingadvice thread in problem forum, I might as well introduce myself here as well! :)

I was caught by the ford bug back in 1998 when I bought a 1985 Sierra XR4i (wich is still around) and it's just got worse since then. At present I'm visiting both Sierra XR- and mk2 Granada- and as of now the Scorpio scene!

The Scorpio was collected 2006-04-22 and sofar I've already replaced battery cover (wich was cracked), retaining plastic nut for the cover, wich was missing, changed front discs and pads, cleaned the MAF and adjusted tyre pressure, bought front and rear mudflaps (not yet fitted) and a plastic contoured boot carpet. It's running quite alright, I'm pleased. Also got time for a regular service, plus coolant renewal and replacement of drive belts at local ford dealer next friday.

I even might treat it to some extra rust prevention treatment of the ford bill won't go through the roof, we'll see...

Well, no one said it wouldn't cost money to keep a car! :)
