;D hi can anyone advise me ?
the little 'top hat ' socket has gone on the wiper arm linkage .told that i have to replace it all the whole arm linkage. I was hoping that all you had to do was get a new socket ford want £85 + vat . tried scrap yard but no scorpios in yet any one help please cheers .

Year I now remember the carry on I had. After reading that. I was between Scotland and england on the A1. When it was 1am and pouring with rain. :-[
With another 80 miles to go sticking my head out of the side window doing 40mph. }{

my truck use's the same method for wiper linkage

when mine went on the side of the motorway i put
the silver foil from a packet of ciggies over the offending ball then pushed linkage back on it lasted the rest of the week till i got back to yard

ps i put ciggies as it would not let me put f.a.g.s
