Hi, names Rob and I've just bought a 95 Scorpio 12v Ultima, which is nice. Lovely car and was a great drive home until scrape scrape clunck clunk bang bang and abs light comes on.
Not looked yet but I'm just hoping its not the beginning of one of those relationships ;)

hey and welcome

has it had new rear brake pads?

they have to be located in a little tag on the handbrake self adjuster and if not they can sit wrong, it's possible that one may have come loose, also ive know the groved ring that the abs sensor picks up on to shatter (although that was a cougar :-X) whip the wheels off and have a look round all the calipers

It's the bearing :( And typical no one can get one on a Sunday, so guess what I'm doing tomorrow.
Mind it gave me time to sort out a few other niggles, pop a dent out and valet the interior, just been too hot to do the outside so its still dirty
