didnt know where to put this but,how many 24v owners are there on this site,and how many have had the two plastic tee bits under the top cover fail,can you still get these parts

im one

ive had the tee fail also, went to a camping shop and found a metal tee that fitted,

or try a calor gas or simmlar place

homebase was the place for me they do various sizes for automatic irrigation systems. the ones I got come in a two pack but its sods law by the time the first one fails you never can find the second one >:(
so yo gotta buy two more

The one that goes on mine is in the vacuum pipe between the two inlet manifolds its a pain to get to but you will know when it goes due to the hissing and the car running rough due to it sucking air straight into the manifolds.
I also ended up replacing the hoses with silicone because the originals were cooked solid and very brittle

I currently have a 24v estate but have just put it up for sale on ebay and on here. Health reasons mean that I need a higher vehicle unfortunately :(

I have owned a 24v for a month now, don't know about the t pieces, no mention of these problems from the former owner

Not had them fail so far, looked ok to my eye when I last saw them a few months ago *fingers crossed*

I picked mine up today yipee! It has a lumpy tickover and that is the first thing im going to check in the morning!

I`m a 24V owner (again) this is my 4th with a couple of Alfa 164`s a Senator and a 2.9 non 24V in between. Gotta say this one on a `S` plate has cost the most! Getting there tho`. :D

We're new and proud owners of a 24v too - not found the aforementioned piece yet, but car runs like a dream so we're not going to fiddle with it!

Whipped off the left hand inlet manifold, the T pieces were fine, the pipes going to them were well past it though

I've a lovely 24v Estate which has needed a new gearbox but the engine has never once given cause for concern.

Hello everyone

I've been a visitor to the site for quite some time and have just become a proper member ;D

I'm very proud to be a 24v Cosworth owner on a R plate, it's always been one of my dreams to own one and now that I do, I have absolutely no regrets, it is everything I had hoped it would be ...and then some! 8)

Glad to finally be a member of this brilliant site, you're such a great group of people on here.

Afaik it is, first registered 27/02/1998.
