Title: Both Passed Post by bizzay1 on Oct 17th, 2006, 7:58pm On Monday my estate passed the mot (cost me £200) and My cossie passed today (cost me £50), and I have just been on line and taxed em both :) :) unfortunatelly with the timing (both needing mot & tax at the same time) one of them is going to have to go :( |

Title: Re: Both Passed Post by mr._floppy on Oct 18th, 2006, 11:52am Just being nosey, what was required to pass the test on both cars ? I'm looking for the Scorp's consistently weak areas when it comes to the MOT Test. |

Title: Re: Both Passed Post by bizzay1 on Oct 18th, 2006, 2:15pm the one thing that both failed on was "offside (centre floor) seat belt anchorage area is excessively corroded [5.1.B.6] " Just a small weld required, the estate needed both points (nearside as well as the above) both Lower wishbones (got a good used pair) & the handbrake not working correctly on one side. The cost is also kept down due to the place I go only charges £20 for a test. |
