Title: Membership and Postings Post by Snoopy on May 12th, 2007, 8:34am It is apparent that there are some members of the Forum who think that it is within their absolute right to post offensive and inflammatory replies and articles on any subject they think fit. This is not the case , you are all responsible for your posts and I refer, in particular to the agreement which you admitted you had read and agreed to, when joining the forum. Such behaviour will NOT be tolerated and any future breaches of the agreement will result in the membership of the person concerned being cancelled immediately, along with the post. This forum in general has always been "Self Moderating " but it only takes one person to spoil the whole situation. This has been the case quite recently and I have felt it necessary to suspend a member for breeching the "rules" I ask you ALL to take great care in what you post and the possible misinterpretation of any post that you may make, even though it may well be tongue in cheek. I suggest you ALL read and inwardly digest THIS (http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=news;action=display;num=1111970982)previous post. Dave ( snoopy ) |

Title: Re: Membership and Postings Post by scorpio_man on May 12th, 2007, 10:01am Hi there I fully agree with the action taken by the Forum Admin Team. In the 4 1/2 years that I've been a member, only about 4 people have been banned from the site. I'm very proud of that fact. I'll work hard to keep this site, in my opinion, the best site on the net. As Dave has said, the forum is largely self moderating, don't let the minority drag us down. If anyone has any issue over any post, please contact a member of the Admin Team, who will try to help. Regards Andrew Forum Admin Team |

Title: Re: Membership and Postings Post by Simmo on May 12th, 2007, 11:34am The stance taken by the moderators is the reason this site is so good and devoid of the inane rubbish which appears on some others. There is plenty of scope for humour, banter and leg pulling without the need for any form of offensive material. |
