Title: I'm gonna be Scorpio less....... Post by STUTET74 on Nov 25th, 2007, 10:59pm Having got rid of my Scorpio (thanks Highlander) and now having been bought a Rottweiler puppy that is already the size of a small bear (the missus will do anything to stop me having a saloon), Ive gone and bought a Shogun 3litre V6! So having had a car that does 20mpg round town Ive now got another one! I couldn't find a late Scorpio estate without either stupid price or stupid miles, but it has been fun! One thing ive noticed in 6 mths of owning what should have been my dream car, the people on here have been a great help and made ownership more enjoyable and less problematic. The other thing over the last few months is how few of these cars are now for sale. Thanks for all your help. |

Post by bertie on Nov 25th, 2007, 11:52pm what a cute lookin puppy, tis a pity they don't stay that way. wait til he's/she's a bit older !!!! and 15 stone +... here's my puppy http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v232/bertiee/Photo0030.jpg we got him at 4 months old, can you believe he was mis treated by his former owners and then kicked out onto the streets to fend for himself, he is just a puppy ! anyway, he is doing fine now, spoilt and part of the family. Jakey is his name. He will be a big lad when he grows up as his bone structure and feet are huge, As for Scorpios for sale, I sold both mine in a jiffy, a tear in my eye as they drove off. Did you know that scrap is at an all time high, the alloys and panels I had were collected by Mr Scrapman and he paid out on each item, ie 12 spoke alloys are worth a tenner each, 17 in are £11 and cos he took a van full, he took all the little niggly stuff as well, ie lit sun visors, air bag modules etc. all in I scored for £200 notes. A lot easier that selling bits little by little. Simon |

Post by STUTET74 on Nov 26th, 2007, 12:03am I'm not making any money on the car to be honest, Ive sold it for the price that insurance offered it back to me. I just wanted to give someone on here the chance to have it rather than Spikes Autos having it at at auction and selling it bit by bit (lol). The fact it is its an S reg with Recaro makes it quite rare. |
