Wow! Glad to hear it all turned out ok and no one was hurt. Could (and usually is with drunks) so much worse. Merry Christmas to you and your family too!

This is a very interesting story,seems these idiots are everywhere.My pal had a Granada 3 as a taxi and had been to Heathrow early morning,he was returning and was within three miles of home,when he was struck from behind at such a speed that his seat was broken off and he was looking at the headlining.The man who hit him had been on nightshift at St Ives(Hunts)and had gone to sleep !
Obviously you still have a bit of Scorpitis left,since you have obtained another,despite falling for a modern car from the land of the rising sun.Just as an aside,my brother who lives in Eire has a Subaru Legacy estate and absolutely swears by it,and he a motor engineer too :)

It makes you sick that these people make it onto the roads.

I'm glad that you and your family are OK, it looks like you're going to have another Scorp then? She looks great!

The Forester looks mean from the front, although I'd have to go for a green one! :D

Yep no doubt about it the Hondas/Subarus/toyotas etc of this world are far more reliable etc but I wouldn't swap you for one of them ;)

Comparable car?? Whats the cost of a Forrester then?? ;)
