Well guys i sold my 12valve on Ebay for £760 odd pounds and was let down but have managed to get £730 from another bidder and i was never so glad to get the cash in my hand...wait for this twist tho...the guy that bought it said he had looked at a 24valve GHIA with 27750K but didnt like the maroon colour..i casually asked where and he gave me the number,i phoned the elderly lady and turns out her hubby passed away and the old cliche motor still in the garage with 2 duvets over it WAW!! the word immaculate doesnt come close it is a true example of 'showroom condition'...wife went ballistic until she saw what i brought home and could not believe her eyes.Well it IS for sale and il avoid Ebay and maybe put it in one of those speciality mags...right guys PRICE!!..no less than what? 6 months MOT and tax and i will give anyone a ten pound note for any blemish they find exterior or interior...how do i post photos on here??? Speaking to the owner,my new FRIEND Margaret her son in law was the general manager in a garage called Millars and she is a gem.I didnt think any car in GB had that kind of mileage with every stamp and book,waw im rabbling but boy was i lucky..i test drove a jaguar 04 plate and it ran like a wheelbarrow full of broken bottles compared to my 'LUCKY' new car.Then the price,she asked for £900 to go to Italy in the summer,,SNAP!!..i could not have bought the reg for that..give me an idea of asking price guys,,thanx,

So you have picked up an immaculate maroon 24v Ghia with 27,000 miles on it for £900?

Is it a saloon or estate and what age is it?

lol i dont get as hyper drinking redbull,its 98 Highlander its the one with the kind of dark headlights and less chrome,,what ballpark figure can you say? you will know better, hundreds of salesmen and sellers talk about showroom condition but you can always find something, i would go as far to say its factory condition, unreal mate,he was the only owner and they went to the shops in Stirling 3 times a week , i probably passed him them now and then, what gets me is ,why didnt the guy ask the price the elderly lady wanted? she said he walked away saying its not his colour!! I could just imagine the fights outside her house she was going to put it in autotrader so i think her son in law may be looking for me!! deal is done tho..

Its likely a facelift then.

Exceptionally low milage, condition and the Cosworth engine all help it.

petrol at £1.20 a litre wont, considering you'll be lucky to average 25mpg with it. although I suspect a few people will be using 24v's as a second car just now, I certainly am.

For the facelifts, Ghia spec was base level so its bottom spec

Price is a difficult one, all depends on how much someone wants it,
I would reckon on ebay it would see £1000 easily but I wouldn't suspect it would go a lot higher, maybe £1500 at a push but you never know.
Remember to Joe Public these are big,thirsty, ugly unpopular cars ;D

aye i was thinking about that Highlander, maybe £1100-£1300. wel see what it goes for, just been to the shops and it kicks down with awesome power,never felt that in a 24V Scorpio :)
